Michael Blanchard leads GLC Law Firm Consulting Group. He has more than 25 years of experience working with law firm leadership in the development of a competitive firm-wide vision and supporting strategies. His areas of expertise include leadership coaching, mergers and acquisitions, partner compensation and capitalization, financial management and general counseling.
Bill Brennan has 35 years of experience in the legal profession including serving in executive roles for two Am Law 200 firms. His specialities include negotiating deal terms, mergers and valuing law firms. He has turned around several Am Law 200 firms that were in a fiscal crisis. His career began at Price Waterhouse and he spent over a decade as a principal with Altman Weil, Inc.
S. Daniel Anderson
Dan Anderson retired from Dentons US LLP as of April 30, 2016, and is now working with the Firm on a consulting basis. Prior to retirement, Dan Anderson served as Chief Operating Officers of Dentons US LLP, and was responsible for guiding the administrative operations during the transition and integration following the merger with McKenna Long.
Mary Ellen Dewinter
Mary Ellen has over 20 years of experience in the professional services industry including regional and global management positions in three Am Law 100 firms. Her diverse experience includes strategic planning, operations management, practice management, project management, marketing and business development. She also has a strong background leading complex processes and integration efforts through mergers & acquisitions.
Paul has over 35 years of experience working in professional service firms. He is currently a senior advisor to Steptoe & Johnson LLP, stepping down as Steptoe's COO after 18 years. Paul was responsible for all administrative, financial, operating and strategic planning activities at the firm. His earlier experience included senior positions at Arnold & Porter, Milbank Tweed and Price Waterhouse.
Nina is the president of Quidlibet Research, LLC. She is a broadly-educated and innovative professional with excellent communication skills. She has more than 30 years of experience in results-oriented strategic management, business development, and management improvement services for law firms, new ventures, and small businesses with fees contingent upon cost reduction.
Dabra Baltzell has more than 25 years of experience with regional professional service firms. Her positions have included firm-wide responsibility for the areas of finance, operations, human resources, benefits/compensation, strategic planning, succession planning, and acquisitions/dispositions.
Donna Corini has over 20 years of legal marketing experience helping law firms achieve revenue, profit, and market share growth across highly complex and competitive markets. As the chief marketing officer for an Am Law 200 firm in Washington, DC, she was responsible for leading all firm-wide strategic marketing and business development efforts. Donna also served as a key strategic advisor to the firm's leadership focusing on metrics, accountability, and quality control.
Barry Strauss is an accomplished leader and strategic planner with more than 40 years of experience positively impacting law firms' bottom lines. Barry served as the executive director of an Am Law 200 firm in Washington, DC as the right hand person to the firm's chairman and was involved in every aspect of the management and growth of the firm. He oversaw a lean organizational structure that drove an industry leading percentage to the partners of the firm and grew revenue and profitability every year.
